Trio of Burgess brothers make England rugby squad
England have named three Burgess brothers in their 24-man squad for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, due to start later this month.
All three of the brothers - twins George and Tom, 21, and Sam, 24, play for South Sydney Rabbitohs, along with their older brother Luke, who did not make the national squad.
England coach Steve McNamara said he was sure Luke would be disappointed not to be included, but that it was "not his job" to make "fairy tales" come true. Speaking to Radio 5 Live, he said:
"Luke will be disappointed, but I'm sure he'll be happy that three of the four are included.
"It would have been a fairy tale if all four brothers were involved, but it's not my job to do that."
