UK risks 'shooting first and asking questions later'

The UK risks "shooting first and asking questions later" if it intervenes in Syria before UN weapons inspectors produce their findings, Britain's former army chief told Daybreak.

General Lord Dannatt strongly opposed military intervention in Syria and wanted to hear from the weapons inspectors already in the country before British forces moved in.
