Glenn Greenwald has said his reporting will now be "far more aggressive" after his partner, David Miranda, was detained for over nine hours at Heathrow airport.

Speaking to reporters upon Mr Miranda's arrival in Rio de Janeiro, Greenwald said: "I will be far more aggressive in my reporting from now. I am going to publish many more documents. I am going to publish things on England too. I have many documents on England's spy system."

The Guardian journalist wrote a series of stories revealing mass surveillance programmes by the US security agencies.
