'At least 50' dead in 'Day of Rage' protests in Cairo
Fresh violence across Cairo has claimed the lives of at least 50 people, after another violent crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood's planned 'Day of Rage' today.
Protests took place across Egypt, with tens of thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters gathering in Cairo.
Witnesses said pro-Morsi supporters fired shots at unseen targets in demonstrations across the capital, and police fired water cannon and live ammunition at the crowds.
Witnesses said a military helicopter fired on Morsi supporters in Ramses Square.
More than 600 people have been killed in the conflict this week.
