The "devastated" father of Katie Gee has said the level of burns sustained by his daughter in an acid attack in Zanzibar are "beyond imagination".
In a statement, Jeremy Gee said:
I spoke to Katie 3 hours after the incident and again an hour and a half ago.
We are devastated.
The photos I've seen are horrendous.
The level of burns are beyond imagination.
She's expected to be back tomorrow morning when she'll be taken to hospital were consultants are waiting for the girls to arrive.
Me, her brothers and the rest of the family are devastated.
