Osborne: 'Economy moving from rescue to recovery'

The Chancellor has spent the night visiting night shift workers and visited Warburtons "super bakery" in Wednesbury, before joining a Highways Agency crew on Junction 7 of M6.

Finally George Osborne turned his hand at driving a forklift truck at the Tesco Distribution site near Daventry - one of the supermarket's main logistics sites.

Mr Osborne said: "Millions of Britons work late shifts, work nights they provide the service that we take for granted in the morning. And they are the unsung heroes of the British economy and our economic plan is going to help these hard working people as we move from rescue to recovery."
