Miliband slams PM over strategist's 'conflict of interest'
There is a "devastating conflict of interest" between David Cameron's election strategist Lynton Crosby representing tobacco companies and the Government deciding to abandon its plans to introduce plain packaging for cigarettes, Ed Miliband has said.
The Labour leader accused Mr Cameron of being the Prime Minister for Benson and Hedgefunds as they clashed during PMQs.
His comments came after the Government announced on Friday that it planned to wait to see further evidence before introducing plain packaging for cigarettes.
Mr Cameron said that the decision was made by himself and the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt and no one else.
