38 face Madeleine inquiry quiz

The head of the new full-scale Metropolitan Police inquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has said there are 38 persons of interest, including 12 British nationals, that they want to speak to. He says they believe she is still alive.

Police identify 38 people of interest in Madeleine case

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, head of the investigation into Madeleine McCann's disappearance, has said that they want to talk to 38 people from across Europe - including 12 UK nationals - in connection with they inquiry.

The missing girl's parents Gerry and Kate are not among the people of interest.
