Actor Tony Robinson and sculptor Anish Kapoor have been knighted in this year's Queen's Birthday Honours. Robinson's Blackadder co-star Rowan Atkinson gets a CBE and singer Adele receives an MBE. Clare Balding and Aled Jones are also honoured.
Sculptor Anish Kapoor said he was honoured and humbled to be awarded a knighthood in this year's Queen's Birthday Honours.
The sculpture, who is responsible for designing the Olympic tower thanked the many people who helped him during his career. In a statement, he said:
"I am honoured and humbled to receive this honour and I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have helped me during my career.
"I would like to thank them all for making it possible."
Welsh comedian Rob Brydon and classical singer and television presenter Aled Jones are among those named.
