Weather: Lots of sunshine, staying warm

Another lovely summers afternoon ahead.

It's been slow, grey start in some places but unlike yesterday any remaining cloud will give way to brighter skies.

Today the best of the sunshine will be concentrated across the south with highs of 24c in places. Eastern coasts will feel a touch fresher.

The sunshine will last well into this evening, leaving with a fine and bright evening after work.
