Beko 'deeply regret' any incidents over appliances

We deeply regret any incidents linked to one of our appliances and we are currently exploring ways in which we can assist the Buchanan family at this difficult time.

The cause of this incident is still unknown and we will be working closely with the authorities as they carry out their investigations.

The safety of all our products is Beko's highest priority. All our products are subject to rigorous independent testing to meet EU standards.

– BEKO STATEMENT

We are deeply sorry for any incident caused by one of our products. This was a tragic accident and we extend our sincere condolences to the Muthiah family.

We have been cooperating fully with the Coroner and will continue to do so throughout the inquest proceedings.

We want to reassure our customers that this incident involved an old Beko product which is no longer in production and none of our current range of appliances are affected.
