NHS England has insisted the children's heart unit at Leeds General Infirmary remains suspended pending a review, despite claims from two local MPs about a meeting on the issue. A ban on surgery was imposed over concerns about the numbers of deaths.
The Conservative MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough Stuart Andrew has tweeted that the children's heart surgery unit in Leeds "will be resumed."
