Nelson Mandela is spending his first day at home after being released from hospital following his lengthy treatment for pneumonia.
Mandela doctors working 'on side of caution'
South African presidency spokesman Mac Maharaj has spoken about Nelson Mandela's condition after he was admitted to hospital after an recurrence of a lung infection.
He said with a person of Mr Mandela's age "there always has to be concern and therefore the doctors would prefer to work on the side of caution rather than take any risks".
