Thames Valley Police have issued a statement regarding the cordon around the home of Boris Berezovsky, including the information that CBRN officers (Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear specialists) are at the scene.
We are aware the cordon is causing disruption to local residents and we apologise for any inconvenience, but it is important we take all necessary measures to ensure a full and thorough investigation can be carried out.
I would like to reassure residents that we are confident there is no risk to the wider community.
The property is part of a large estate so a number of roads are closed off at the moment and will remain so for the time being.
How Boris Berezovsky died is still being investigated, although his Berkshire mansion has been declared safe by radiation experts.
