Russia: Arming Syria rebels a 'breach of international law'
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned that supplying the Syrian opposition with weapons is illegal under international law.
His comments come a day after David Cameron floated the possibility that Britain could bypass an EU arms embargo to do just that.
Lavrov told a news conference in London: "I think that international law provides for the fact it's not possible and I think that arming the opposition is a breach of international law."
