Group claims 106 people died in Syria 'massacre'
More than 100 people, including women and children, were killed in a "massacre" in the Syrian city of Homs on Tuesday, a monitoring group said, claiming it was carried out forces loyal to President Bashar al Assad.
The UK-based opposition group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said some of the 106 victims were burned in their homes, while others were either shot or stabbed when pro-Assad forces stormed Basatin al Huwaisa, a district of Homs, Reuters reported.
