Arrest over organist murder
Police investigating the murder of church organist Alan Greaves, who died after he was attacked on Christmas Eve, have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of murder. A 21-year-old was arrested on Wednesday.
Man arrested on suspicion of church organist's murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of church organist Alan Greaves.
Mr Greaves, 68, died after sustaining severe head injuries on Greengate Lane in High Green, Sheffield, at around 11.15pm on Christmas Eve.
Anyone with information that could assist the murder inquiry should contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1183 of 24 December.
