Peter Wright, the darts player nicknamed ‘Snakebite’, has lived up to expectations by taking to the oche with another remarkable hair do.

The Scot changes colour at every tournament and has his wife, a hairdresser, to thank for the stand-out design.

Wright says his trademark hairstyles give him that extra confidence – and it proved the case today as he overcame Arron Monk 3-0 in the last 64 of the World Darts Championship.
