Obama 'considering' Vogue editor Wintour for embassy role
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is apparently among the candidates being considered by President Barack Obama to become the next American ambassador to the UK or France.
Sources told Bloomberg the London-born 63-year-old, one of Obama's biggest fundraisers, could benefit from the president's desire to reward those who helped him gain re-election.
A spokeswoman for Vogue, though, denied Ms Wintour, who is now a US citizen, was interested in a diplomatic post.
