Manhunt by missing Tia Police
A manhunt was launched tonight for the partner of Tia Sharp's grandmother after police hunting for the missing 12-year-old found a body at the house where she was last seen alive.
A manhunt was launched tonight for the partner of Tia Sharp's grandmother after police hunting for the missing 12-year-old found a body at the house where she was last seen alive.
Police have issued a renewed an appeal for information in helping find a school girl - who went missing in New Addington, south east London, around midday on Friday.
Tia Sharp, 12, was last seen leaving her grandmother's home in New Addington, south east London, at around midday on Friday.
She told relatives she was going to the Whitgift Centre in Croydon town centre. Tia is described as white, slim build, 4ft 5in tall and wearing glasses.
The clothing she was last seen wearing is described as a yellow bandeau top over a white bra with visible cross straps, light grey leopard skin leggings and black and pink Nike high top trainers.
Police believe Tia had a small amount of cash with her, but no travel card and she did not have her mobile phone. Tia is known to frequent the Croydon, Mitcham and Wimbledon areas.
