India’s Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has blamed the collapse of three power grids on states taking more than their allotted share of electricity. Mr Kumar Shinde said:
"Everyone overdraws from the grid. Just this morning I held a meeting with power officials from the states and I gave directions that states that overdraw should be punished. We have given instructions that their power supply could be cut."
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
