YouView digital supplier launched

Business magnate Lord Sugar has today launched YouView, a new digital television product.

The 'on-demand' version of Freeview, the free-to-air digital service, will allow customers access to third-party content using a set-top box connected with an internet connection.

The digital venture is a partnership between the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV, and three communication companies Arquiva, BT and TalkTalk.
