Rebekah Brooks was not arrested over new allegations

Rebekah Brooks returned to the police station today.

She's not been arrested on any new allegations, she was answering bail.

However, after the Press Association reported, ITV News has confirmed that she was being questioned about payments to a confidential source at the Ministry of Defence.

This is linked to recent arrests at The Sun I'm told, as a result of information passed from the company's Management and Standards Committee.

She was questioned at the police station for nearly 7 hours and has now been bailed again until May.

She is also under arrest on phone hacking allegations and suspicion of perverting the course of justice and will again have to answer bail on this in April.
