Man taken to hospital after suspected explosion in Darlington

A man has been taken to hospital after a suspected explosion in Darlington.

Police officers, fire fighters and the ambulance service are at the scene.

Police were called to reports of a gas explosion at a property on Wordsworth Road.

The fire service set up an exclusion zone as a safety precaution.
