Boro sign striker Britt Assombalonga in club record-breaking £15m transfer deal

Middlesbrough have tonight smashed their transfer record to sign Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga.

It is thought the Teessiders have paid more than £15m for the 24-year-old, and they fought off interest from Premier League clubs to get their man.
