Twelve arrested after 2015 drive-by nightclub shooting

Twelve people have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting at a Newcastle nightclub.

The shooting took place outside the Tup Tup Palace nightclub on St Nicholas Street on June 6, 2015. A door supervisor was shot and seriously injured.

Police have arrested twelve men. The first eight were arrested in early morning raids on 8 February. They are all from Newcastle and aged 53, 51, 50, 36, 29, 29, 25 and 20. Later on officers arrested a further four men - aged 50, 38, 29, and 28 - in connection with the investigation.
