Body found in River Tees

The body of a man has been found in the River Tees, close to Surtees Bridge.

Whilst no formal identification of the man has taken place as yet, the family of missing 25-year-old Tebogo Magadlela has been informed and is being supported by officers.

A formal identification will take place to identify the man in due course.
