Fans prepare for Wear-Tees derby
Fans are preparing for this afternoon's Tyne-Wear derby. Its the first time Middlesbrough and Sunderland have met in the Premier League in seven years.
Sunderland host Middlesbrough at the Stadium of Light and due to the short distance between the clubs, a dedicated football train has been put in place for travelling supporters.
The dry service will leave Middlesbrough at 11.22 and arrive at St Peter's for the Stadium of Light at quarter past twelve.
Officers are also expecting transport links in Sunderland to be busy on Sunday.
Fans are being encouraged to allow plenty of time to make their way to the stadium ahead of kick-off at 1:30pm.
