Body found near Scarborough

Police are carrying out enquiries to find out if the body of a man found on the beach at Cayton Bay near Scarborough is that of missing Thomas Ducey.

Officers were called by a member of the public at around 11am on Saturday (19 March) following the discovery of a body.

The family of missing Thomas Ducey who is 57 and from York, have been informed.

No formal identification has been made and police say enquiries are continuing.
