Tributes are pouring in following the news that North East comedian Brendan Healy died last night.
North East comedian Brendan Healy dies after battle with cancer
Geordie comedian, musician and actor Brendan Healy, has died after a long battle with cancer.
It's been confirmed he died last night with his family by his side.
He was 59.
He was best known for his performances in pantomimes at the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle.
