Rail services between Harrogate and York have been disrupted tonight after a train crash near Knaresborough. Buses are replacing trains in the area.
The crash, between a train a tractor, happened at a level crossing between Knaresborough and Cattal at around 6.20pm.
The train involved was the 5.29pm Northern Rail service from Leeds to York, a spokesperson from company has confirmed. Emergency services are currently on the scene and dealing with the situation. The tractor driver has been taken to hospital.
