Gas explosion at property in Guisborough

A man has been left with burns after a gas explosion at his home in Guisborough.

The fire brigade were called at 10.55am.

The semi-detached property on Rectory Lane will be assessed by a structural engineer but damage to adjacent properties is believed to have also occurred.

The road has been cordoned off by police as investigations are ongoing. National grid and the local council are also in attendance.
