Fire crews spent the day putting out a major fire at Crathorne Hall Hotel near Yarm. It broke out at around 10am in a wing of the historic hotel. No-one was injured.

Smoke and flames can be seen from the A19 as fire crews try to bring a massive blaze under control at Crathorne Hall Hotel.

18 fire engines are at the hotel near Yarm, and have requested two water tankers to be sent.
