Poyet says Arsenal star Ozil needs rest

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet says he thinks Arsenal should rest their star midfielder Mesut Ozil.

The German international has been criticised over his recent form. The 25-year-old also missed a penalty during Arsenal's 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League last night.

Poyet's side travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday. Speaking ahead of the game, the Uruguayan said he thinks Ozil is feeling the effects of a heavy fixture schedule.
