The first stage of digital switchover in the Tyne Tees region will begin next week as the BBC Two analogue signal is switched off. 

We meet a volunteer with Age UK who is travelling around County Durham helping people get set for digital. 

The TV presenter was in Gateshead today to urge everyone in the region to ‘lend a Helping Hand’ to those yet to switch to digital TV.
