Mark Heslehurst handed in a 100,000 signature petition in his fight to bring nine-year-old Edward back from Cambodia, where he was taken by his French-Cambodian mother two-and-a-half-years-ago.

The father from Teesside met politician Lord Bates and the Mayor of London Boris Johnson outside 10 Downing Street. He is hoping his actions will trigger a debate in parliament and get him the help he needs.

Mark has walked from Middlesbrough to London and back again and is due to return to Teesside around lunchtime. He has also received a letter from the Prime Minister promising to look into the case.
