People are being warned about the dangers of sand dunes, after Ronnie Martin from Bedlington was buried at a Northumberland beauty spot. He was rescued after a two hour operation at Druridge Bay, involving all the emergency services.

A man has been rescued at a beach in Northumberland after the hole he was digging fell in on him.
The Great North Air Ambulance and emergency services were called to Druridge beach at around 4pm on Sunday after the man, who is in his twenties, became trapped.
It took police, paramedics and two diggers to free him.
