Unseen Roman exhibits unveiled at Hadrian's Wall

New exhibitions have opened along Hadrian's Wall, with Roman artefacts going on display for the very first time.

Almost £2 million pounds has been spent by English Heritage at Corbridge Roman Town.

Birdoswald Roman Fort, which is located along the west along the wall, gives members of the public more insight into how the Romans used to live.

Some of the most significant exhibits include a cremation urn with the remains of a woman and small child. However, it was always thought that this part of the wall was exclusively for men.

The new display includes artefacts like children's toys and even a baby's feeding bottle.
