Couple guilty of murdering 19-year-old Owen Kerry on Christmas Eve
A couple have been found guilty of murdering a teenager at a Northumberland working men's club on Christmas Eve.
Brian Cahill and Lyndsey Harper were found guilty of murdering 19-year-old Owen Kerry at Cramlington Working Men's Club after a trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
The court was told Brian Cahill stabbed Owen in the abdomen. Prosecutors said his girlfriend Harper was also responsible for Owen's death due to it being a "pincer movement" joint attack.
Cahill had claimed the knife went into Owen accidentally as be tried to push him away.
