A statue and plaque have been unveiled in a small County Durham village to remember four brothers who had a big impact in World War I.

The Bradford brothers were born in Witton Park and are believed to be the most decorated brothers in British Military history. Roland Bradford received the Victoria Cross and Military Cross, George the Victoria Cross, James the Military Cross and Thomas a Distinguished Service Order. Only Thomas survived the war.

A memorial garden has been created in Witton Park to remember the brothers.
