Police appeal after "high value" theft from Newcastle Apple store

A police appeal has been launched following a "high value" theft at the Apple store in Newcastle.

CCTV images have been released by police in the hope the people in the footage can be identified.

The theft happened on Thursday, January 19. Around £3500 worth of items were stolen from the Apple store in Saint Andrews Way in Eldon Square.

Enquiries are ongoing and police want to speak to the three men and three women pictured on CCTV in connection with the theft.

The group were in the shop at the time of the incident and may be able to help with enquiries.

Anyone who recognises any of the people in the images is asked to ring police on 101 quoting reference number 408 20/01/17.
