Darlington FC returning to the town
Darlington Football Club is returning to its home town after spending the last four years at a ground in Bishop Auckland.
It has now done a deal with Darlington Rugby Club to share their ground at Blackwell Meadows.
Michael Wilkinson, Chairman of the rugby club, says there is a growing list of sports using the facilities there:
The football club was relegated four leagues after going into administration in 2012 and there were concerns it would not survive.
But the team has come back fighting with their sights set on the northern conference next season.
