How much sleep did you get last night?

Newcastle is hosting the British Sleep Society conference, and it comes as new research from the University of Leeds has found that almost a quarter of people aged between 30 and 50 are missing out on so much sleep - it could harm their health.

Most of us need to get in at least seven-and-a-half hours of sleep a night to be at our best the next day.

Getting less than 5 hours a night has been linked to anxiety, depression, diabetes, heart disease, impaired work performance and an increased risk of accidents.

Stress at work and juggling family life are the main reasons why the over 30's miss out on a good nights sleep.
