Nine month old "teacher"
A nine month old baby is being used in a new scheme to teach children how to be kinder and more understanding.
Baby Oscar is helping to show children at the Thomas Bewick Academy in Ashington how to understand what others are feeling, even if they can't express those feelings in words.
The scheme - called Roots of Empathy - is run by Action for Children and funded by the Big Lottery. It's already been rolled out in Scotland and is now benefitting children in Northumberland. It's claimed it helps to combat bullying.
