As Daniel Sturridge's late strike gave England a 2-1 win over Wales at the European Championship, ecstatic fans assembled outside the Stade Bollaert-Delelis stadium broke out into rapturous celebration.

Daniel Sturridge scored an injury-time winner for England to secure a 2-1 victory against Wales in their Group B clash in Euro 2016.

The Liverpool striker was brought on at half-time with Jamie Vardy after a disappointing first half which saw Wales take the lead after a Gareth Bale goal.

After Vardy's 55th minute equaliser, Sturridge dramatically secured the victory by poking in ball at the near post.

The atmosphere has livened up in the red and white part of the fanzone in Lens after Jamie Vardy's 55th minute equaliser against Wales, levelling the score at 1-1.

Jamie Vardy has levelled for England 1-1 against Wales in their Group B clash in Euro 2016.

The Leicester City player scored the equaliser in 55th minute after Gareth Bale put Wales ahead in the 42nd minute.

At Royal Ascot, some ladies took the opportunity to show patriotism as England and Wales prepare to go head to head at the European Championship in France.

As England and Wales arrived at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis stadium, ahead of their crucial Euro 2016 match, both teams looked relatively relaxed but focused.

Despite recent violence that has marred the European Championship in Lille, it does not appear to have dampened the spirits of these England fans ahead of today's match against Wales.

The starting 11 for Wales Group B Euro 2016 match against England this afternoon has been revealed, with Gareth Bale leading the charge as expected.
