Partial collapse at Sittingbourne shopping centre

A Twitter account that posts emergency service updates about Kent has posted images of a partial building collapse of Bell Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne.

The Bell Shopping Centre is at the centre of Sittingbourne.

Local press reports suggest there were plans to demolish the three-storey building.

Local radio station SFM has tweeted these photos that appear to show part of the shopping centre that has fallen onto cars, and emergency vehicles at the scene.

Three fire engines and police are attending the incident at the rear of Bell Shopping Centre.

A statement said that "it is not thought there is anyone [is] trapped or injured".
