Gold paralympian stamp u-turn

The Royal Mail has announced it is to issue individual first class stamps for each British paralympian individual or team gold medalist, as it did during the Olympics. It had previously claimed it was "logistically impossible" to do so.

Royal Mail u-turn over Paralympian gold medal stamps

Royal Mail has reversed its decision not to produce individual stamps for gold medal winning athletes at the London Paralympics.

Royal Mail had previously said it would be "logistically and practically impossible" to create individual stamps for gold medals winners at the Paralympics, as had been done for Team GB at the Olympics. But today it announced the individual stamps would be produced.
