Mystery over Dorset fisherman's disappearance

A major search is underway for a man who is thought to have gone missing while spear fishing off the Dorset coastline.

Andrew Scott, 27 and of Winterborne Whitechurch, left home between 3pm and 4pm on Monday 10 July 2017, but failed to return as expected.

Dorset Police were alled at 8.55pm after a bag containing his belongings was located at White Nothe and his car was found parked at Ringstead Bay, five miles east of Weymouth.

Officers are concerned that Andrew may have come to harm in the water and searches have been carried out led by HM Coastguard.
