They are Britain's largest infantry regiment and today the Rifles are marching through Winchester Town Centre exercising the right of Freedom of Entry.
It's an ancient privilege and allows a Regiment to parade through the City with 'Full Ceremonial'.
The Freedom Parade celebrates The Rifles 10th anniversary, and will see around 200 soldiers march from Peninsula Barracks, down the High Street and into Winchester Cathedral where they will pause for the Turning of the Pages Ceremony.
