Firefighters tackle 10 tonnes of plastic ablaze

Firefighters have tackled a blaze in Lewes after 10 tonnes of plastic caught alight at a waste management site.

Crews were called just after 6.30pm yesterday to the site in Southerham.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
